Upcoming build

As if I didn't have enough quads already... Rolleyes

I've always liked the GepRC frames, even if some of them are very close to where "inspired by" and "clone" are hard to separate.

The Leopard frame caught my eye recently for its downright good looks and very robust construction.

So there's now one sitting on my bench!

The question was, what motors could possibly look good on this frame?

Enter the Cobra CP2207 2450kv - Golden Edition!

The build will be called "Blingquad!"

Cool! Will you be doing a build log? I think we need a few more large builds featured here.

It counts... that music is now very much from the past. Try letting any kid who is "woke" "AF" listen to it and I am sure they'll find "micro-aggressions" in there "FR"  ROFL  (whatever happened to when things were the bomb dude? like hella dope you know?)

protect that camera lens Smile
I had the stretch X version and one crash cracked the camera mount carbon plate Smile because the lens was sticking out a tiny bit.

Let me guess, it cracked where the screw holes are counter-sunk?

Thought so!

Unfortunately, a countersunk hole in carbon fibre is just asking for trouble.

I still haven't finished getting this build together, mainly due to a lack of enthusiasm at finishing a build and then not being able to go out and fly it due to the freezing temperatures outside.

I did find the perfect propellers for it though:

GemFan Master Series 5045 bull nose triblades! Big Grin

They will probably push the ESCs on my all-in-one flight controller to the absolute limits, but it will be fun to see how fast the Cobra motors will go with these very aggressive propellers.
