As your RX is horizontal, face your TX antenna to the left or right. Bear in mind that you will have weaker signal during yaw and roll, and when flying to the side of yourself. It's still better than being cross polarized all of the time however. It likely won't matter at all unless you fly over half a mile out or get behind something very thick. Even at 500Hz packet rate, ELRS should still work as long as you're not hitting signals as low as -104dBm (0.00000000000004 watts, no joke) and don't hit environmental interference. (WiFi and Bluetooth are most common) Here's a reference on what you can expect to get away with.
