Gave the Turnigy Graphene 65C LiPo battery a test today, compared to the nanotech 4S 45c lipo. 

I am a bit disappointed, although It was quite cold outdoor (6°C), I flew it and a nanotech back to back and it felt just about the same.. 

I think the added weight of the packaging ruins any advantage you may get from it. 

Of course, there's the life span thing (life cycle), but for me, they're not an option. And the lipo probably get destroyed much earlier before it naturally dies anyway (crashes)

A mate of mine has the Graphenes and pretty much says the same as you, the weight out ways any possible gain.

Well, if you happen to keep one from exploding, and get all the cycles out, you will have saved some good money. Plus I heard that they hold their voltage better as they age. Not sure if its true but that's a bonus if so.
