Tuning Question
#1
So, finally put on the big boy pants, and started disabling notch filters. A little information first:

Chameleon frame, squishy standoff mounted FC, 1mm pads under all motors

I followed [Project Blue Falcons] Tuning Pt2: Adjusting Filters video for reference.

I got everything done, no hot motors, blackbox looked ok to me. This was doing just a simple hover for a few seconds to make sure that if something did go wrong, I would not light up a motor. Took it out today, to do a normal flight and log it for reference. It was a tad gusty, so I figured that might induce a bit more noise. Also, one of the motors is a tad older, so it is listing a little bit due to it not being able to keep up. Can someone check these and tell me if I need to turn the filters back on, or does the log look ok. They seem decent to me, but again, I am no whizz at reading them. After these, motors were not even warm and everything seemed ok.

This is the first log, with just a hover with no wind:
Log 1, no wind, simple hover

This is the second log, from todays longer flight in wind:
Log 2, wind, long ver.

Why did you "start disabling notch filters"?

Was there a problem with the way your craft flew?

Not specifically. It was getting some decent oscillations on descent, but mainly just wanted to see how it would affect performance. I had read somewhere that turning them off would help it to respond a little quicker and help reduce propwash.

Yes, it makes a huge difference in eliminating propwash and response. Great video by JB that explains it

Saw that one! I just used a simple version for ease of use.
