30 That one looks really good.
Some months ago I bought one of these..http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/__29828__Soldering_Iron_30watt_12v_3s_XT60_Plug.html
Had all good intentions with it, you know..will come in handy in the field etc....LOL, never used it in the field. Perhaps because I take 4 quads at a time with me and If I wreck one to the point I need to solder I just grab another quad. lol.
Oh, and I have a butane powered soldering iron, which I have used twice..but not on my quads..on my trailer wiring and it worked great.

34 I got this iron a couple of weeks ago and I must say it is THE BEST soldering iron I have ever used! It runs on 12-24V (You will need a power adaptor, but most PC adaptor works. The plug is 5.5x2.5mm). I use a 20V power supply, and it heats up really quick. You can adjust the temperature all the way up to 400 degC. It solders XT60s, 12awg, negative pads on PDBs without any problems. The lead melts in just a few seconds.
another nice feature is that it has a built in accelerometer, which detects movement. That mean if you put the iron to rest, it will after a few minutes, reduce the temperature to 200 degC. After a while it will turn off completely, and to turn it on again, you just push the button. This is a really nice feature, as I have forgotten to unplug an iron before.
It is also a configurable text file on the iron, so you can program it. I haven't looked into this yet, so I can't say much about it.you connect it with a micro usb cable to your computer.
