Hi all,

I have just purchased the THFS2 RTF kit. Now it was maybe silly to not try it out as is out of box, but alas here I am.

I took it out and downloaded betaflight and followed this video here for doing a first setup: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xmaTq4JgTXI&t=2119s. I did save the CLI dump.

I think I flashed it wrong and it was kind of bricked for a bit and the drone was not getting picked up on BF. Eventually, I reflashed it with Matekf411RX as set out in the manual, but now despite my efforts to bind the Transmitter, I can't seem to get it to connect/respond in BF.

I have tried the binding method in the manual and also followed a few differnt methods like this one: https://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?3080337-FrSky-Taranis-X-Lite-S-and-Pro-X9-Lite-S-R9M-Lite-and-Pro-MPM-Lite/page144

but nothing seems to work. 

It would suck if I have messed this up somehow but I am not sure. It says to ensure the transmitter is in D8 mode, but its the stock white one with Emax and I don't know if I have to press a button or switch to put it in D8 mode.

I have it set on BF for receiver as set out in the manual as SPI Rx - FRSKY_D and have channel mapped the TAER1234.

I am completely new to FPV drones but now I have this drone I don't know how to use XD.

Any help or thoughts appreciated.

Go to the Emax website, I believe they have a cli for that set up .. they use that fc in different configuration ..I’ll dig into my files I may still have a good one for the original fc if u can’t find one.. you may have to install a older version of betaflight .. but it will get u back in the air..

Thanks for the tips! I'm hoping it will be a great quad once I get it running. I will try the CLI dump again when I get home and see if that resolves anything and report back
