Today I got my Tiny 6. Everything looks nice, after conection with USB cable I can see everything in Betaflight nicely. But I cant connect it to my Taranis X7 I bought the Frsky Compatible Receiver version. Signal from Camera is ok. But after 4 hours, cand make this thing work... I found few possible manuals to bind it, I tried almost every combination for binding and nothing works. Tried to reflash software to latest, and few older versions, nothing wokrs.. Tried with D8 and D16... Any ideas? I can imagine i just miussing soemthing? Turn on the transmitter, goto binding mode, choose D8 mode and click “Bind”, then you’ll see the receiver LED turn solid, that means it has bound to the transmitter. • Posts: 228 Threads: 44 Likes Received: 147 in 81 posts Likes Given: 50 Joined: Dec 2017 Reputation: 2 20-Dec-2017, 03:20 AM (This post was last modified: 20-Dec-2017, 03:38 AM by Esy.) Just to confirm... Is the RX LED flashing - like it is looking for a bind and not finding one? If not, it might be bound but the 'RX' has been assigned to the wrong UART in the 'ports' tab of BetaFlight? Also confirm that in BetaFlight 'configuration' tab, the Receiver is correct (ie. Serial SBUS)? Sorry if you have been through this process, just trying to eliminate common problems! Im software developer, so not working is the default state of things for me receiver blink red once a second +- I attached screenshots of betaflight. But When I tried to change receiver to SBUS - SBUS click on "save and reboot" it will reboot and Receiver settings is still unselected O_O ports: • Posts: 1,504 Threads: 83 Likes Received: 944 in 654 posts Likes Given: 2,142 Joined: Sep 2016 Reputation: 24 In the ports tab, Try switching 'Serial RX' on UART 2, click save and reboot, See if that then allows the selection in the config tab to save... Yup, It allows me to save the receiver mode! We are one step forward. But binding, isnot working at all. • Posts: 1,504 Threads: 83 Likes Received: 944 in 654 posts Likes Given: 2,142 Joined: Sep 2016 Reputation: 24 OK, so it sounds like we have the right UART set for your serial RX now, my Tiny7 uses UART 2 for RX as well. Since changing these options, have you tried to see if you are getting any inputs in the 'Receiver Tab'? I only ask because one of my RX has an LED that flashes whether it is bound or not! Sadly buddy, I am a FlySky user, so can't give any advice for getting the TX bound. However I did just find info saying that a guy had the TX and RX too close to one another so it wouldn't bind... Maybe try putting a bit of distance between the TX and RX before going through the bind procedure? If this doesn't work mate, I'm afraid I'm out of ideas. Just ordered minFrsky mx+ receiver LBT And will try to flash receiver in tiny6 to lbt version later. • Posts: 228 Threads: 44 Likes Received: 147 in 81 posts Likes Given: 50 Joined: Dec 2017 Reputation: 2 22-Dec-2017, 12:11 AM (This post was last modified: 22-Dec-2017, 03:34 AM by Esy.) OKe guys, this tiny 6 is cursed for me! I connect new LBT frsky mx+ receiver. bind ina sec and everything works fine. But I have another problem. one motor does some noize, not spinning properly . Video with motor sound here, any hint what to do? Or is just the motor bad? When I try to flight, Istart rotate around this motor :/ And after connection quad to betafligh and running motors. 3 of them start imidietly and the 4th one sith low throtle does not start at all, just making noize.. • Posts: 2,286 Threads: 38 Likes Received: 1,527 in 995 posts Likes Given: 1,881 Joined: Apr 2016 Reputation: 72 That's bad news. Either the motor is bad, or the FET that drives it is bad. The only way to find out would be to swap the motor with the one diagonally opposite and see if the fault moves with the motor. Brushed motors are made for a specific direction of rotation, so only swap a clockwise motor with another clockwise motor and vice versa. Although a brushed motor will happily spin in the other direction, the brushes will wear out very quickly if you run the motor the wrong way for any length of time. • Posts: 228 Threads: 44 Likes Received: 147 in 81 posts Likes Given: 50 Joined: Dec 2017 Reputation: 2 I tried to sit motor for the oposite with same direction and still the same noize:/ Gosh, and now the xmas holidays are here, so my local seller of quad accesories is off. no quad this year • |
