Finally some sun today!

Five packs and two quads ready!

The issues came ready as well Cry

Motor on the badger was spinning the wrong way after rebuilding the ESC, forgot to check motor directions on the bench.

The badger got 20 seconds before clipping a low hanging branch on a eucalypt tree, managing to disconnect a motor wire, that's a first.

The rooster flew fine and I got to try out my new hero 8!

Alas I felt I was walking the tightrope of misfortune so I packed up after one pack with the hero 8.

Still was sweet to rip a pack or two and see the badger grow in performance as I progressively fix/tune it to greatness. Thumbs Up

Six inch quads are harder to tune than their five inch brothers but they just deal with the Melbourne wind.

It was warm in Adelaide today but I was skeptical about going out to fly since every man and his dog was at the park. It was also windy which is why I just decided to soak up some sun instead Smile

Glad to hear you had fun Smile

Thanks Kafie! I'm lucky I'm not far from Braeside park, a large reserve in the middle of suburbia. Sometimes I like to time going out just after bad weather, it will mean less people for a while before they cotton on to invading my private flying reserve that is there just for me! lol...

Here's a short video of the rooster having a sedate freestyle session, still getting my legs on flying with the $$$ (hero 8).   Flying at sunset and setting up the gopro in the field wasn't the best idea.   The original footage came out vertical, lol, I must of set something wrong.   I haven't owned a gopro since (pre fpv days) my hero 5+, man stuff has changed a lot.  The quality of the footage is insane!!

Nice spot and has lots of potential. Great flying too.

I am not into Gopros anymore but do have a Naked Hero 8 that I de-cased out of a $80 Hero 8 with a broken rear screen on Gumtree.

The colours on the Hero 8 are very good and Hypersmooth stabilization is fairly refined now.

Unfortunately, I just do not have time for video editing or uploading videos.
