Hey Andie, that's a nice little carry case that it comes with, would you say that it would benefit from a top layer of foam, or should it provide enough protection for bouncing around the boot of the car on the drive to the field? That was some nice flying! I guess that you only tuned your rates, otherwise that was the stock tune? My untrained eye only saw 1 spot with a little oscillation under high loading, makes me think that the stock tune is pretty locked in? How did it hold up to the crash, any serious damage to the frame or components?

Hey Tom!

The carrying case is, well.. just a carrying case. It's not padded enough for some serious protection but will survive a waist drop, also to add if you've added the GoPro session mount, it won't fit in the case anymore. Yeah i did crank up the rates to exactly like how my Pure X configuration quads are, but because it's a Stretch X Config, the Pitch rates will need some tweaking. The KOPIS 1 are tuned at the factory by Holybro, so the stock PIDs worked well in my opinion. I did saw the oscillations when I reviewed the HD video, will look into it - probably a chip/bent prop. Held up very well to crashes thanks to the 5mm carbon, but only time will tell!

I am very well impressed by this product, loving the quality components especially the motors+esc combo and also the nifty Smartaudio features all ready to go. Smile
