07-Feb-2019, 07:06 PM (This post was last modified: 07-Feb-2019, 08:55 PM by SnowLeopardFPV.) This guy's LOS skills never fail to amaze me. Chucking a $2000 X-Class around in the sky like it's a 5" 07-Feb-2019, 11:46 PM Impressive quad, and agreed, good LOS skills. 13x12 rotors!!? Can you say Vortex Ring State poster child,,,,, Cool vid, thanks for sharing, Snow. RC Addict is my idol. am more impressed with is flying skill than any FPV pilot. He is an inspiration but also a let down because no matter how much I try, I can never get that good. Great video. I am excited for my X-class build. 08-Feb-2019, 04:09 AM Man O man that was intense. No thanks. 08-Feb-2019, 10:08 AM (08-Feb-2019, 12:50 AM)voodoo614 Wrote: RC Addict is my idiot. That's a bit harsh! X-D But yeah, the guy is down-right inhuman at LoS. Him and quadmovr (https://www.youtube.com/user/quadmovr/videos) The ground is for dead people. 08-Feb-2019, 04:03 PM That is so awesome. The guy's skills are incredible, no doubt. But man I was scared of that beast just by watching the video, it just looks and sounds so dangerous. Dangerous but awesome. Love the chirping when doing flips and rolls. 08-Feb-2019, 04:38 PM (08-Feb-2019, 10:08 AM)Banelle Wrote: That's a bit harsh! X-DHaha. Good catch. Now he is my idol. 08-Feb-2019, 05:03 PM Weird... I felt butterflies in my stomach when he was catching it. Find me on Youtube and Instagram. Him and quadmovr (https://www.youtube.com/user/quadmovr/videos) What the heck I think quadmovr and RC Addict must both come from the same outer space planet LOL. I mean, how do you even see what orientation a 5" quad is in when it's a dot in the sky against a camouflaged background, and with it flitting around all over the place like that. I don't think they're controlling their quads with a transmitter at all....I'm sure they're doing all that with their minds 08-Feb-2019, 11:17 PM (08-Feb-2019, 06:10 PM)SnowLeopardFPV Wrote: how do you even see what orientation a 5" quad is in when it's a dot in the sky The trick is... you actually don't have to. I have "a few" hours of LOS flying under my thumbs and it is always going great until I actually start thinking about this. I mean... the quad is going in a certain direction after you perform certain stick moves, it just has to click in. Practice, practice, practice. Grab your whoops and do a 2-pack daily exercise of LOS acro - you'll get it quickly and it is as much fun as FPV Those guys above are artists Find me on Youtube and Instagram. FPV is first person view, right there in the aircraft. LOS is third person, and very disconnected. I equate 3D with a helicopter as challenging, where FPV is entertaining. For those of you that think this guy's LOS abilities are good, go watch a few videos of a professional 3D helicopter pilot. They make this guy look like a noob.....and that is not a negative comment about RC Addict's skills, which are very good..... Some pilots to search for in the Pro 3D heli arena are, Alan Szabo, Tareq Alsaadi, Curtis Youngblood, Bert Kammerer, Kyle Dahl, Nick Maxwell to name a few of my faves.... 10-Feb-2019, 03:08 PM Good for him. No thanks here on catching it. Deal Here's the Deal 10" 6S FR10-G Long Range, 5" 6S Rooster, 5" 6S Badger, 5" 6S QAV-S, 5" 4S Badger, 5" 4S Phreakstyle Slam, 5" 6S Yema, 5" 4S Stark, 3" 4S Gecko, and a 3S 2.5" Tadpole, all of which are Crossfire. Tinyhawk, Tinyhawk S, and a DJI Spark. And projects on the bench.... If you like LOS then watch this video. I love this guys that you posted he is awesome... but the absolute best LOS I've EVER seen PERIOD on a quad is from Oka Nakafumi. Seriously if you haven't seen this, watch the whole thing an be prepared to be mind blown..... Look out for the constant yaw spin funnel. It's hard enough even to SAY that trick without getting slightly confused let alone actually manage to pull it off. 'Ignore' is the route word of Ignorant. 01-Oct-2019, 10:00 PM (01-Oct-2019, 09:25 PM)bLoWsMokE Wrote: If you like LOS then watch this video. I'm not too into quadmovrs style. It looks fun, but just not that appealing to watch IMO... Proly the most fun way to actually fly though LOS though. The technical skill this korrean has is unrivaled..... When I see someone do a funnel while constantly yaw spinning that can't be beat.... that IMO is the ultimate LOS trcik.... I can't think of anything that could be harder to do with a drone. I have never seen anyone doing anything that comes close to the level of difficulty that is. That yoyo thing he does at one point when the quad is close to the ground and he makes look like a yoyo....... that is the sickest LOOKING trick I've ever seen in LOS... It's actually the sickest looking thing I've seen a drone do period.... It might not even be that hard (it is though lol just not god level hard like a fricken yaw spinning funnel) but it looks amazing. RCaddict is my second favorite LOS pilot on youtube.... He should be my first cuz he actually has content... but I mean.. those close up tricks Oka does the amount of control he has with the throttle is simply unrivaled IMO... of course it's a style thing though, those very short bursting throttle changes. To be fair though this guys actual name is Oka TAKAFUMI and he is a 3D heli pilot... there are other videos of him on youtube, just this one flying a quad... the rest are helicopters... (I'm assuming it's his and the N in Nakafumi is just a mistake by the poster). Also on one of the DHL episodes there is a shot of a quad doing a diagonal funnel.... but like.... it is in one single spot spinning like a top on one arm.... It was very short clip and in slow motion so I'm not even sure it was real..... You might be able to convince me that this is harder than a funnel with a constant yaw spin. I'd have to see someone do it first though. 'Ignore' is the route word of Ignorant. |
