THANK YOU!!

I want to take a minute and thank everyone who helped my 220 build get off the ground. I've only been flying for a few weeks and like an idiot, I decided to jump right in to build a race drone. I enjoy learning how things work, so I bought a kit. I've learned so much already and with the help of many of you, I'm hooked. I cant believe how much smoother this thing flies than the rtf quads I purchased. That being said, I also cant believe the power. Now when I go back to flying my rtf's, its like riding a bike with training wheels. I'm still a newbie learning the basics, but I actually like flying the kit better. Anyway, I don't mean to ramble, but I just had to let everyone who chimed in know, that I really appreciate it. So glad I found this site!

It's always great to hear that we've helped to get people in the air.

Happy flying!

Glad you're in the air and enjoying the build! I had a similar experience with my first build... The comparison I like to think of is that it's like buying a computer in the 1990s... Sure a compaq could install office 95... but it's not really a good computer unless it was custom built in a standard ATX case...

Quads are the same way. Plus there is the satisfaction of having built the quad that flies better than the one you bought, and it probably has the things you really think a quad should have which means it's more custom suited to your preferences. Overall great stuff! I am glad you're having a good time. Keep up the good work.
