Testing GoPro mount with ND Filter |
GoPro mount works ok, I dont think have jello problem But can not use superview since the mounting are shown too much 28-Nov-2018, 10:33 AM Nice. I'm trying to work out how to add an ND filter to a Runcam 3S at the moment since the jello is pretty bad in bright conditions. Did you use a 'proper' filter for this one? I'm hoping to get by with automotive window tint ;-) The ground is for dead people. 28-Nov-2018, 12:44 PM I tried car window tint 3M Black Beauty 80 It makes nice color, i think makes jello better too The problen is - very hard and takes time to really stick it without tiny air bubble - you can not change the filter intensity depending how Bright when you are flying I also new and trying to get good footage just like what people post in youtube 28-Nov-2018, 01:21 PM I tried to do the ND filter on the cheap, and like you guys have found out, there were successes along with new problems. I finally got a good set of filters and was thrilled with the result. An ND8 on overcast days and ND16 on Sunny days works best for me. 28-Nov-2018, 05:26 PM (28-Nov-2018, 12:44 PM)w3njember Wrote: I tried car window tint 3M Black Beauty 80 Yeah, being able to change it is the sticking point, for me. I was hoping I could get a replacement face-plate for the 3S and just swap them out as needed, but it doesn't look like Runcam are selling spare parts :-( The ground is for dead people. 01-Dec-2018, 06:41 PM Brain3D has a "ND Filter Session Mount (TBS Jello Guard Filter)" that specifically uses the glass / spec of the TBS Jello Guard ND filters. If you have the TBS ND Filter set in with this guard, you can use superview without seeing the session mount at all. I've used this setup for about 6 months now and love it. 01-Dec-2018, 08:41 PM (28-Nov-2018, 10:33 AM)Banelle Wrote: Nice. You can use the Session stick-on filter, reports are it works quite well on the 3S https://www.getfpv.com/action-cameras/ca...ssion.html Dude, where's my quad? 04-Dec-2018, 06:34 AM (01-Dec-2018, 08:41 PM)RENOV8R Wrote: You can use the Session stick-on filter, reports are it works quite well on the 3S I think those are tinted window film for car..
