Has anyone else used one of these? Are they accurate when measuring IR?

Bought one to check IR and it's showing one or two cells having higher ir than the rest (difference can be as high as 2-20 between cells) in all my lipos and from what I've read I should toss all my lipos based on this.

But everything else is fine, they balance out perfectly, charge up to the expected mah capasity, no puffing, don't get hot, good performance, cell voltages about equal after use.

My lipos are high capacity 5s and 6s 3000mah-5000mah low discharge 25c-40c (I fly a low amp draw long range 7 inch).

Those are very generic meters and several rebrands (if not clones) can be found online.

I personally do not have any experience with them but what I will say is that IR only tells you part of the story.

The best way to use IR as an indicator of lipo health is to make a note of the values when you first buy a fresh lipo and over time keep track of any changes in IR over use using the same meter.

I just don’t bother much with IR and just go by feel in a sense that if the lipos puff up or start loosing capacity which you can guess by decreased flight time, it’s time for them to be discharged and decommissioned.
