naze32 flight controller would not send VFAS,acc,etc telemetry to X4RSB receiver.  Had to open cleanflight via usb and open cli then set frsky_vfas_precision = 1.  This worked but then I read about adding signal diode instead of shorting pin 6 (Soft Serial 1 TX) to pin 5 (Soft Serial 1 RX) on the Naze.  After replacing the short with diode 1N4148 dark band facing pin 5 RX and making sure smart port wire connected to pin 5 only I was able to set frsky_vfas_precision = 0 in cleanflight cli and all was still working.  So to get telemetry working you only need the signal diode.  Dont forget save in cli and unplug/plug flight pack battery to re-initialize. Might also have to delete then re-detect telemetry sensors on Taranis Transmitter.  Please let me know if something is wrong here.  I also must credit Oscar Liang and other users for helping me to figure this out.
