Atlast the race timing system is out in the market for everyone to buy... with 3 versions basically controlled via software i suppose...
one based on features, other one is full version supports 8 pilots 4 is a decent number and other one is rental basis all controller via a localhost web url connected to a local wifi no internet needed....
also no transponders needed ... everything is tracked by the 5.8ghz vtx ... also the price range is from $500 approx for the 2 versions and so called full version which i named it is for $1000 costly though but for even organisers its important to have a reliable system... well have mentioned everthing in the blog post and the links to tbs website product link

i have the tbs race tracker single person module. and to be honest i don't like it. it came with a faulty bluetooth antenna, so i had to modify it. and still the bluetooth range is garbage.

I heard there's a way to modify the module to get 100m range
