TBS Cube
#1
Folks,

I just changed the setup up on my custom 200 quad from a CC3D to a TBS cube.  The cube uses a Colibri F3 flight controller.  The CC3D worked great with Luxfloat in angle mode and in acro mode.  The Colibri flight controller works great in acro mode using PID controller 1, but when I switch to angle mode it works like crap.  Not responsive, hard to control etc.

My question is:  Which PID controller works best for angle mode using the Colibri F3 flight controller?

sounds like you might want to lower how much control you want from the FC... lower P gain for angle will give you more user control and it would feel more responsive.

Thanks Oscar,  Lowering the P gain worked wonders.  The quad is now totally flyable in angle mode.

Follow-up question:  Is there a way to change profiles with the radio transmitter or do I need to go into Cleanflight to do that?

You can with stick commands.
Hold throttle down and yaw left and...
- roll left for profile 1
- Pitch forward for 2
- Roll right for 3

That's awesome.
