tbs crossfire sixy9 with a TBS Crossfire Micro TX V2
#1
I am new to the tbs crossfire eco system, got them because i wanted something with vtx and rx. I can not get the sixty9 and micro tx to pair. They both just blink green like they are in pairing mode. My micro tx firmware is up to date. I have not been able to update my sixty9 because it is not paired. Is there a way to get around that to update it or a way to get them to pair?

Thanks

It’s hard to describe the process in words but here is a video that will show each step.

It's a pain when you buy a new system and it does not work as expected. Crossfire can be a pain in the back sometimes..! rule of thumb by TBS the TX must always have the newer or same firmware than the Rx (vtx does not matter in this process). never try to bind a newer fw RX to a older fw TX. this can result in breaking the RX! If you know the fw of the RX then you could downgrade your tx to the same firmware. Also TBS is now using their new software tool Agent M instead of X. they are not identical and can do different things. it's advised to use agent M but in some cases only agent X saved me. if you have a usb on your sixty9 then connect it to your PC and update it there. if not and you have to go via Tx module then try to work with the TX module connected and visible on the PC with agent X/M open and work from there. it sometimes takes 4-5 tries until they start to bind.

if your Rx is locked then you have to try the golden brick mode but i hope you don't have to go there. when both are still blinking green then you are still ok with the standard procedure.

I love Crossfire and use it for many many years. it has some great features and even the automatic update is great. the biggest problem is, when a new Rx will not bind to the TX.. an old problem they still haven't fixed yet! good luck!

Also, if your TBS Sixty9 was previously on firmware version V6.27, there appears to have been some kind of issue with that version because it got pulled and replaced with firmware version V6.31, so make sure your Sixty9 is on that latest firmware version. You can find release notes for the firmware version in another thread HERE.
