Tattu R-Line 1300mAh 95C Lipo Battery
#1
Gens Ace Tattu have released a new range of batteries designed specifically for FPV racing. Lower internal resistance, lower landing temperatures along with a higher capacity are all claims made by Gens Ace. The R-Line batteries have the same spec as the popular Toppilot range which was released earlier in the year.

Specifications
  • Voltage - 14.8 (4S)
  • Capacity - 1300mAh
  • Discharge Rate - 95C
  • Max Burst Rate - 190C
  • Weight - 172.6g
  • Length - 72mm
  • Width - 36mm
  • Height - 32mm
  • Wire Gauge - 12AWG
Personally I really like the Tattu range of batteries, so this new range should be even better.

I got some feedback from Matthew Evans who has reviewed these lipos:

Quote:Short but sweet review from me - perform better than current Graphenes, which I feel provide the most power atm - very impressive: http://matthew-evans.info/2016/08/22/gen...c-testing/

Yeah they definitely won't be 95C, I think it was more just to put the C rating above their current line. I never liked the original 75C Tattu's, never performed any better than my NanoTech's. As I say the one thing I did find though ignoring the generic C rating BS marketing, is that they actually did perform better than my current best lipos, so something to be said for that (and my current "best" lipos are 1500mAh, so should be better as theyre higher capacity!)

I bought 3 new Tattu 75c batteries the Originals. 2 weeks later one failed for seriously I don't know why. All cells checked out, connectors tested out on multimeter, but when connected to my quad the beeper would go wild. Still have 2 of them, but are these R-lines or maybe the Graphenes more reliable?
