Taranis Yaw Expo - faulty?
#1
Hi,

I´m fairly new to the Taranis and its features but it seems as if my my Taranis may be faulty? I've bought my Taranis X9D Plus just a 1,5 month ago and needed to send it back to HK as my Yaw trim switch didn't work... Hopefully my replaced one isn't faulty as well and it's just me beeing and idiot  Tongue.

What's wrong: From one day to the other (without me interfering or changing anything) my yaw to the right seems to have negative expo, whereas the yaw to the left is linear (how I want it to be Wink )  . So when I yaw left everything is linear, if I yaw right it is super sensitive as if my there was some kind of "rates" for my right yaw. Angry

What I did so far: Check the Expo --> none! Created a new model with standard settings - still yaw to the right fault. Rewrite a backup of my working settings - no change.

I´m suuuuper desprate and really don´t not what to do and I'd appreciate any help!

Thank you very much!

Is your midpoint set to 1500 in the cleanflight configuration tab? What is the reading in the 'receiver' tab of cleanflight when you're at neutral stick position, full stick right, and full stick left?

Thanks for your reply but the middle position was okay also it read 1500 in cleanflight and on the Taranis...

But I've found the fault:
My Taranis lost calibration from one day to the other. I checked everything but - as always - it's just to simple. Recalibrated and everything was fine. How can that happen? It was okay on Monday but faulty ( not calibrated) on Tuesday. Does that happen often? Huh

Make sure you didn't set a curve in both inputs and mixer pages for Yaw?

Hi i did make sure there were no curves on my transmitter (I never use curves on the transmitter anyway). As I've said now it's fine. How the hell does it change from one day to the otherTongue - strange.
