taranis stick mixes to activate aimode
#1
I want to use airmode (force the motors to be always on) but i dont like the motor switch arming by button (lets suppose its SF, front disarmed, back armed), I am used to arm by sticks and when it falls usually in the middle of the fields with difficult acess is not practical to go play find with the remote in hand, on my first flights I had motor armed, it fall, instinct is to leave remote and try to find so when I found it was rotating props… had to grab and bring it rotating to base.

So… I want to use airmode (motors always on) but with conditions so I can use sticks and self disarm.

I am thinking:

Arm:
If throttle = 0 and rudder is all to the right for 3 seconds, then arm (SF activated).

Disarm:
If throttle = 0 and rudder all to the left for 3 seconds, then disarm (SF desactivated).

Or… (when we go running after it and leave all)…
If elevator is centered and throttle = 0 for 3 seconds then disarm (SF desactivated).

Has already anyone tried or created something like this ? Works ? What do you think ?

Unfortunately what you asked for is done in the code... And the coders need to consider all situations.. I can already see someone would accidentally disarm mid air when doing tricks...

I don't quite understand the part where you explained why you cannot use arm switch.. Myself also came from stick arm.. But finding switch arm just fine just takes a few flights to get used to
