It's about regulations on transmission, although the output power are the same.

The firmware is different but the functionality is the same. You can flash your device to either firmware anytime you want. But most RX you get from China would be on international firmware (non-EU).

From what I'd read on RC Groups the receivers flashed with EU firmware have a lower sensitivity?  So while the transmitter might have the same output the range is reduced.  Something to to with an increased data-rate requiring a more solid/stronger signal to get an error free data link.

Hello i would like to quit using Spektrum tx and buy a taranis qx 7 .
The question is:euro version and international versions output the same watt power? (Apart the different firmwares) because i know for sure that euro Spektrums tx are Lower powered than non euro.
And if i purchase a taranis from Banggood (hk) it will be euro or international?
Thx in advance
