Switch buzzer to led?
#1
Solder stuck through the pin hole when I was melting some solder into it and didn't realize it wasn't melting.. it was just sliding through so it contacted the esd underneath and fried the buzzer port and one of the esc. I replaced some micro capacitors on another 4in1 esc I had and got that going but now I'm left with no buzzer problem... I don't have telemetry and need the buzzer for low battery alarm. Is there a way to switch the buzzer to the led port? Or some other alternative?

It isn't possible to remap te buzzer output, this because it have a little circuit needed to function and that is specified to one pin, maybe you could trace it back and solder it somewhere else.

One possible option if you have betaflight 3.2 and blheli_s escs installed is to enable dshot commands and use them as buzzers.
Flying: Talon 6S 6" 2407s 381g no bat, Martian 3, 5" 2205s sooo heavy + gopro session 5 573g AUW, Aurora 5" 2205s 280g no bat, Druckbaer 3" 1404s 172g AUW 3S 550, BQE Megapixel 2.5" 1107s 139g AUW 3S 550, BabyHawk R 2.5" 164g AUW 3S 550 (stock except microeagle, CRSF, 2.5" arms) and maybe 3 more, for now...

i'd recommend not to change the buzzer for led... as you will be flying you might miss the blinking or color... not that easy to spot on a sunny day.

for future you can put some electrical tape on the 4in1 from the top and then put fc... will not save continous ironing... but will give you few moments of "oops" also splashes of solder will not shortout the 4in1 (guess how i learned that).
All the best

You can't make the motors beep while they are spinning, so this wouldn't be a good substitute for a low battery alarm.

Ah, I'm so new i only considered the buzzer useful for finding the quadcopter since I fully rely on the OSD and telemetry data on my radio for all other info.
