Quick number crunching on the Sunnysky 0705 15000kv thrust data, which I forgot to post
You can get it from Banggood
To be honest, nothing specific to tell about this motor other than it makes good impression out of the box and ran pretty smooth on the thrust stand. It gets pretty loud on high throttle. Keep in mind that Tom was very unhappy with those motors.
The motor stayed relatively cool on all 1s tests, got warm on 2s, but nothing alarming here. Probably the use of bearings allows it to run relatively cool all around.
The stator height is 0.5mm smaller then specified at about 4.5mm (thanks Unseen)
I have tested it with different props:
31mm quadblade and cut to biblade (eachine e010/e011 "whoop")
31mm triblade
40mm quadblade and cut to biblade
56mm generic and cut to 40mm
Last ones are from cg023, not sold anymore, generally they seem to be a bit more powerful and efficient than the ladybirds (compare here), unfortunately all my other "longer" sample props are drilled for the 1103 and don't fit the 07xx motors. Need to get some fresh sets.
Thrust curve examples:
Data taken with an RCBenchmark 1520 thrust stand
40mm quadblade and 56mm prop results:
