SUCCEX_E_F4 - partial throttle unstable only first seconds of flight
#1
SUCCEX_E_F4
BF 4.2.6

Weird problem, I think.   Only for the first ~5 seconds of a flight, do the motors stutter and sound jittery.   After that, for the remainder of the 4S battery, the problem does not exhibit itself.  Happens every time with brand new battery.  Doesn't matter if I leave the quad armed and idling on the ground for 30 seconds either.  I'd post a video, but DVR doesn't have audio and I don't fly with an aux camera for sound.

Still learning my way around blackbox logs and thus, nothing obvious is standing out when looking at them. Here is a flight from the other day:
http://s000.tinyupload.com/?file_id=7887...2411914330

PID D roll and pitch at 02.8 look to be all over the place and then by 06.9 it settles down for the remainder of the flight.

Any tips for what might be the issue and tuning tips?
Otherwise no complaints with how the quad handles.

i cant read blackbox, the first thing i would check is the d-value. lower it a bit and check for any difference.

get sure the props are fresh and tightened well.

I look at the BBL..Your motors are super noisy. Please check the M3 bolts on the motors isn't touching stators or loose up.

Thanks for looking.

The motor screws are tight as they can be without pulling through the arm tip protectors.
Screws do not touch the stators.
Prop nuts are tight.

Any other ideas?

Seems like the problem is getting worse. Now after arming, soon as I touch the throttle it flips itself over out of control. More of an assertive throttle, it will get into the air, do its jerky behavior for a few seconds and then cease doing the behavior the remainder of the flight.

Update.

Had major crash and took forever for all the parts to arrive from China. Besides having to replace the frame, camera, and a motor, the VTX ( SucceX Force 800mW VTX ) also died. Got a Rush Tank II VTX instead. Flown 6+ packs by now and the issue from the first post, no longer occur. The video is noticeably crisper at distance as well. Thus, it appears this problem stemmed from the SucceX VTX.
