Sub $10 Servo Gimbal
#1
Need or want a "tiny" gimbal to mount your FPV cam on?  Flying a small quad and want some sort of balanced GoPro footage?

There's a heap of really fast, awesome gimbals out that that are ready to strap onto you quad...  But what if you barely wanted to spend any money, had basic gimbal control on your FC and really just want to mount a small light camera?

You could do worse than this super cheap (and a little nasty) gimbal from Banggood!

That's a nice little gimbal. Check out this thread if you want to make it work with stabilisation: http://intofpv.com/t-cc3d-servo-gimbal

I did worse ;p - to make the simplest gimbal possible, I just hotglued 2 servos together to form something like this (sorry, it's dark and was not supposed to go public Wink ):

I used 2 360 servos because the idea was to control it manually + a CCTV cam mounting bracket. Tested with Runcam HD on a ground vehicle.
Standard 9g sg90 towerpro micro servos would be better to use as stabilisation. And you can get four for 8 bucks Smile
Find me on Youtube and Instagram. I currently fly: DRC Aura, NOX5R, Minimalist 112 and drive a scrap RC car
