More park Flying
Trying not to crash in my yard.
I have a small yard and there is not a lot of room to learn to fly FPV. I have crashed hundreds of times and lost count of the amount of propellers Ive smashed. One piece of advice I've learned is cover up any plants that you don't want to shred. Very sorry for the Honey Bush and the countless others that I've mangled in my attempts to fly.

23 Nice job! I am much the same situation as you. Heavily wooded lot (albeit it a large lot) and the azaleas and pine trees keep trying to bring me down.....very successfully I might add. I don't have goggles, but an 8" LCD. I wanted to make sure I could actually fly FPV before I invested in goggles. I have tried flying FPV with limited success and currently I am flying LOS. I am slowly getting better and I will switch back to FPV before long. I am told that flying FPV for the most part is easier then LOS just because of your perspective....hmmmmm............we'll see. Keep at it!!
"Damn the torpedoes!!! Full speed ahead!!!"

20 great job NimhBot, to me FPV is kind of like learning to ride a bike. you're nervous at first, even though you know the training wheels are there. then one day it just clicks and you figure out it's all about the balance. next thing you know you're riding like the wind. keep up the good work bro.
