Staggered motor wire joining, way neater.
#1
This is a little tip I picked up recently.  You stagger the motor wire joins so they don't flare out as much.  More for builders that reuse motors and need to adjust wire lengths.

Works a treat!   Here's an example with some trusty mamba 1105's that are going into my night flyer v2 project soon.

Makes for a much tidier layout.

So I'm trying a new variant on this method, to keep it even neater.  Instead of three separate heatshrink tubes, I'm using just one larger one.

As long as the connections are still staggered with enough space between joins to ensure an open circuit.

Then a single piece works just as well.  Thumbs Up

Cool

Nice, if you don't mind some challenging soldering Flywoo has a line of inexpensive micro arm LEDs that come in various sizes. They are another option for a clean (and bright) finish. You can run a single transparent heatshrink on it as well.
