Finding a receiver that is small enough for brushed micro quad that works with the Taranis, is always a headache. There aren't many choices, you can either use
- MicroFrsky RX (but always out of stock)
- many FC has Spektrum RX built-in, but you will need an external Orange TX module for your taranis.
Luckily I recently found this new Superior Hobby SRP8 receiver that is compatible with majority of the Frsky TX module (DHT DFT DJT XJT), and of course the Taranis as well.

It weights only 2g (I can reduce it to 1.5g if I shorten the cables and antenna), which is perfect for brushed micro quad. It runs on PPM, and works straight away after binding with your transmitter. Binding the is same as other bigger RX such as D4R-II, press down the bind button on the RX, before powering on.
It even has telemetry just like the D4R-II, so you get warnings when RSSI gets too low (signal strength).
