Spot Hunting
#1
Recently I found an app called "Drone Zones" which helps to locate areas for flying RC Quadcopters. So I went exploring. I visited four locations total but only two were actually suitable for flying. The first was an empty field with a couple of trees sitting in the middle of a business park, and the other was an old open field with a barn at the edge. These are the highlights from flying both of those locations.

Song: Your Woman
Artist: White Town (Dubstep Remix)
Album: Women in Technology / 100 Dubstep - Club Tracks
Label: Chrysalis Records, remix album: Hypnotic Records

(little tribute to DoP in the beginning! lol It wasn't planned but I left it in because of it)

Also, it's definitely obvious that I need more angle, especially on the diatone in the second half (I HATE the props in frame... but the bumblebee had issues in that field)... I am working on getting new mounts of action cam.

WARNING: I do not condone flying near people. While you will see me do flybys near myself in the second half of this video please be aware that I have enough experience that I was completely confident in my safety when doing so. Had I even doubted a little I would not have done it. (I feel a little funny admitting to being experienced since most of you were here with me when I had none, but still... I don't want anyone who is just learning to think that doing what I do in this video is safe for someone with anything less than complete control and ability to clear the space. Heck even if you do have complete control it's not safe, but it was fun!)

Haha loved the end too, nice edit. Thumbs Up

You'll notice flying over uneven grounds is also a great learning experience... Wink

Thanks, That crash at the end was caused by a loose prop. That sucker literally fell out of the sky lol. The reason that I am flying the diatone by the barn is because I forgot my nut driver but I had both quads so I just swapped what I was flying.

More like learned a good lesson... keep the nut driver in the carry bag not the spare parts box!
