Spektrum DX6i help
#1
A friend of mine gave me his old DX6i along with some copters and small quad. I was wondering what good small Rx's there are as I would like to build a tiny FPV quad.

Thanks!

You can use these, http://au.lightmalls.com/ar6110e-2-4ghz-...vAodtm4Lzw

Granted only 6 channel, but should be enough for a Tiny FPV quad.

Or you can try Orange Receivers, like this, The Orange R415X

Pretty much all DSM2 receivers should work with the DX6i.

Depending on how tiny.

For really tiny, you might try the DasMikro with 6 channel PPM: http://www.banggood.com/DSM2-5CH-2_4Ghz-...09386.html

I use the LemonRX satellite on most of my quads: http://www.readymaderc.com/store/index.p...ts_id=5018
You can remove the case to make it even lighter.  There is a version with shorter antennas, just be sure and get one that is not DSMX only.

I use Orange RX receivers with mine, they work great. The small antennas can be prone to breaking off though.
Current quad: ZMR 250 / DYS SE2205 / Littlebee 20A ESCs / Drone Lab 1500 4S / Naze32 Rev5 / BF 2.7.1
FPV: Runcam Skyplus / Aomway 200mw VTX / Fatshark DomV1

Lemon rx or a spektrum spm4648 if you want a full range diversity receiver. I had signal loss issues with orangerx, switched to the spm4648 and haven't looked back.
