SpeedyBee F7V3 SBUS VBasic
#1
Hey there!

I'm flying RC Helicopters for several years now and I'm new to fpv-copters and this community.
I have built up my first 5inch quad but unfortunately I do have some issue with my receiver setup.

The quad is built-up with an SpeedyBee F7V3 50A stack and I would like to fly it with my VBar Control Radio system which I'm using for flying my Helicopters. So for that I'm using the VBar NEO VBasic Receiver from Mikado.

VBar NEO VBasic:
"Multiprotocol Single Line Receiver: Futaba® S.Bus, Spektrum® satellite protocol simulation, Universal Digital Interface (UDI), analog PPM8 or PPM12 (8/12 channels), with variable update rate, both as input and output possible"

I would like to use the SBUS protocol.

Everything is wired like described in the FC manual's wiring diagram (GND,5V,R2)

The FC is flashed with Betaflight 4.4.2, serial RX on UART2 is active, in the Receiver Tab "Serial (via UART)" and SBUS is set.

Unfortunately I didn't get any signal input from my sticks in the Betaflight configurator and the information
"RX_Failsafe MSP" / „RXLOSS CLI MSP“.

I’m sure that the receiver is programmed correctly and of course it is bound with the Radio and is powered up.

Then I have tried to set it up with "PPM/CPPM" with the PPM8 protocol from the VBasic and everything works fine so the receiver is set up correctly. But if possible I would like to change it to SBUS.

I have tried it with some CLI commands like "set serialrx_inverted = ON", with no effect.

I have read from other pilots having issues with various Flightcontrollers and SBUS?

Does anybody has some idea how I could keep up to solve this issue?

Best regards

thrust
