0 Whilst the new speedy bee app can handle betaflight 4.2, if you change your pids, click save it does save but in the app everything goes back to default..... it doesn’t read what the current setting is.
This makes the app basically useless.
Soo frustrating

0 Yep on the iPhone and my FC has Bluetooth built in. I don’t think you can connect to betaflight on the android via Bluetooth either? Unless I’m wrong?

0 Even with the WiFi adapter you’ll still not be able to use this with betaflight only the speedy bee app which is basically useless as per my first rant. ?
Back to taking my laptop with me I guess!

786 What version of the SpeedyBee app do you have installed and when was it last updated on your phone? RunCam sometimes take a while to update it to be in line with the current version of Betaflight, so maybe you have a slightly older version on your iPhone. And I think the iPhone version is always behind the Android version. The current Android version is 1.3.5 and they literally only just released a new version in the last few days which I would now expect to be compatible with BF4.2.
Which tab in particular is reverting it's settings to default? I will try the same on the current Android version to see if it exhibits the same behaviour.

0 It only happens on the PID sliders. Not on the filter sliders (which is weird)
So for example change the master multiplier slide to 1.2 click save. It goes back to 1 but the setting has been changed to 1.2
The problem is that then you do your test flight, then go back into the app, and it shows the master multiplier as being 1 when it’s actually 1.2.
Not let’s assume you don’t touch the master multiplier this time and instead you up your PD gain to 1.2. If you don’t also readjust the master multiplier back to 1.2 then when you click save whilst it’s has changed the PD settings it’s now reset the master one back to 1 because you didn’t readjust it!
Hope that makes sense?
My app is fully updated 1.4.2 on the iPhone which is the latest

0 Thanks for testing. Frustrating as it’s soo close to being useful!
