I saw this little guy on Instagram so I bought it with the intentions of using it indoor when the weather outside is bad, which seems to be all the time lately. The frame itself is 80mm across and can use an AIO FPV system or a micro FPV camera. The carbon is very high quality and the cuts are clean. The motor holders are not attached in the picture above. The parts are will be using are as follows: - Scisky board / Quanum Pico
- 8.5mm motors (Still undecided on which ones to get)
- Hubsan H107 props
- Banggood micro FPV camera
- FX FPV transmitter
- 350mah 1s Turnigy Nano-Tech battery
I will continue to update this build thread once I have the parts. Current quad: ZMR 250 / DYS SE2205 / Littlebee 20A ESCs / Drone Lab 1500 4S / Naze32 Rev5 / BF 2.7.1 FPV: Runcam Skyplus / Aomway 200mw VTX / Fatshark DomV1 >>>>>>>>>> Check Out My Build<<<<<<<<<< Posts: 5,315 Threads: 672 Likes Received: 3,155 in 1,743 posts Likes Given: 2,030 Joined: Jan 2016 Reputation: 139 nice looking frame what is the weight? • Posts: 391 Threads: 23 Likes Received: 50 in 41 posts Likes Given: 56 Joined: Feb 2016 Reputation: 8 13-Jul-2016, 03:59 PM (This post was last modified: 13-Jul-2016, 03:59 PM by HamsterFPV.) If you're on Turnigy/Taranis and using an OrangeRx module, check out my recent thread in the Beginner Questions forum. I just got my Quanum Pico working 2 days ago after over a month of struggling with it. That frame really is cool looking. 11 grams feels pretty big though. Then again any FPV micro is going to be "heavy" for the micro class. On motors, I just bought these Sidewinders on good recommendation. Haven't got them in yet though but they have great reviews and you get 6 for the price of other sets of 4. The weight should be fine for what I want to use it for, which is just flying around the house. I have been looking at these motors for now: http://store.multiflite.co.uk/index.php?...duct_id=63 39g of thrust each but that is on slightly more aggressive props than what I want to use. I really like that frame! I visited the FB page (RotoriousFPV), and am waiting to hear more details about getting one. 80mm looks like it will only handle 2" props (56.5mm between motors). Looks made for Hubsan props. Can't wait to see your build! • Posts: 391 Threads: 23 Likes Received: 50 in 41 posts Likes Given: 56 Joined: Feb 2016 Reputation: 8 16-Jul-2016, 04:22 PM (This post was last modified: 16-Jul-2016, 04:23 PM by HamsterFPV.) I am going to use Hubsan props initially, I think some people are using Gemfan 65mm props trimmed down to a bullnose shape. I just received my Speck 80. Jack was nice enough to ask and included a 3D printed cam mount for the Elite AIO from HK. If anyone is interested in this frame, you can PM Jack Seymour over on facebook (search the MI group for the right Jack Seymour). Thanks for posting Hamster! Quick update on this. I've ordered everything I need to build it, I'm just waiting for it to arrive from Banggood. The original spec is staying the same but I might try some other props as well. A couple of new frames have been released on the Rotorious FPV Facebook group, this is one of them. It's a 110mm frame.
