SP Racing F3 Acro replacing Naze32
#1
Guys,

I just replaced my Naze32 for a SP Racing F3 Acro, the main reason for for was to have a faster FC and also be able to use SBUS instead of PPM (I was using a conversion cable from SBUS to PPM) something that takes me for a lot slower protocol.

On this F3 board I can go to SBUS without an inverter cable.

I also configured the ESC protocol for Multishot (previously using Oneshot125 on Naze.

Is there any specific concern on this particular board ? Something I need to consider on the settings?

I already purchased a Omnibus F4 with build in OSD but this will take a while to arrive. This is going to be the next upgrade.

Thanks

The only thing you really need to be aware of is the fact that it only has 2MB of space on the flash chip that you can record black box logs to. This doesn't give you much time and your logging rate should not be any faster than 1KHz.
At that speed, you'll get about two minutes of logging before the flash chip is full, so it's best to have the black box feature on a switch so that you can enable it when you need to.

Don't forget to read the manual. Some UARTS are only for 3.3V devices and just like the Naze32, some of the pins on the IO1 and IO2 connectors change function depending on what features you have enabled.
