Here is my testing on some of the most popular micro FPV cameras
The tested cameras are
Here is my take on the result: https://oscarliang.com/top-5-best-fpv-camera-mini-quad/
A really short version of my conclusion:
Micro Predator: light weight, low latency, and with its ultra fast exposure change, it's made for racing. It has very vibrant colour and a contrasty image, but showing shadow detail and working in low light isn't its strong suit
Micro Eagle: Every bit is just as good as the full size Eagle 2, but in a smaller form factor. Actually the Micro is more flexible than the full size version because of the adjustable WDR level, where you can improve the contrast by sacrificing some WDR ability
Micro SDR1: It's a budget CMOS camera, the image quality is okay, just not as good as everyone says it is in my opinion. The image is noticeably brighter than all other cameras I have seen, but the image detail looks a bit blurry. Some people might actually prefer this kind of image, who knows?
Micro Swift 2: I've started to steer away from CCD, because the latest CMOS cameras generally have better latency, WDR, color and resolution. But CCD cameras are still good options, they always give you very consistent and reliable image quality
