You did not. 07-Jan-2018, 05:47 AM That sir, should qualify for the highly sought-after tree-hugger award 07-Jan-2018, 05:58 AM 07-Jan-2018, 07:56 AM Basketball is usually good for this. Because of this reason, I disable my small_angle now. So I can arm and spin motors in case I accidentally disarm. 07-Jan-2018, 09:13 AM Everyone should have one of these (07-Jan-2018, 07:56 AM)voodoo614 Wrote: Basketball is usually good for this. Lol, that was my next step. Was logging my new setup after turning off filters, and thought I'd get a little frisky. Went super well... Lol. Darn filters. Found out that one motor was getting hot and swapped it out and BOOM! No more noisy logs!! (07-Jan-2018, 09:13 AM)JukeJoint Wrote: Everyone should have one of these +1 for that! Tried, but like the rest of the t-wrex, it was simply too short.. lol 07-Jan-2018, 10:27 AM 07-Jan-2018, 02:53 PM We've all been there. There was a video going around for a while about an air cannon that shot bean bags specifically made for getting quads out of trees if memory serves. As much time as I spend in trees I should probably have one. I have gone to the extent of cutting the tree down (I was going to remove it anyway) to get one of mine back. "Damn the torpedoes!!! Full speed ahead!!!" 07-Jan-2018, 06:51 PM (07-Jan-2018, 02:53 PM)sirdude Wrote: We've all been there. My buddies was in a tree for damn near a month. Rain, sun, a bit of snow. Battery still plugged in. Got it down and the damn thing worked perfect. Battery was shot, but all else was 100%. Might be getting DYS for my next build... Lol 07-Jan-2018, 06:53 PM In Canada, you need a permit to chop down a tree. Even if it's on your own property!! 07-Jan-2018, 06:58 PM 07-Jan-2018, 07:28 PM 07-Jan-2018, 08:59 PM well this one was going to come down anyway and quite likely on my house. As far as I know, I do not need a permit to remove a tree on my property. If I do, I've been breaking the law for years! Oh well. "Damn the torpedoes!!! Full speed ahead!!!" 08-Jan-2018, 12:14 PM (07-Jan-2018, 09:13 AM)JukeJoint Wrote: Everyone should have one of these Hahaha! LOL Do they come in 20 meter versions too? I once was even going to use my heavy-lifter drone to get my fixed-wing out of a pine tree at some 20 meters high. But in between the trial run and the planned actual rescue attempt, a tree surgeon had already retrieved it for me... https://ericflies.blogspot.nl/2017/10/ow...trees.html Flying: S500 (self built), GDU Byrd, Heliway H902S, Hubsan H501S X4, GB X150, FuriBee GT90 Fire Dancer On the bench: Durafly Tundra, FuriBee F90 Wasp, Q380 (self built) 08-Jan-2018, 01:56 PM (08-Jan-2018, 12:14 PM)ericje Wrote: Hahaha!
