The other side of the coin is that in the middle of the summer, the sun just dips slightly below the horizon for an hour or so around midnight and it never really gets completely dark.

Oh wow! Awesome I'm in the U.S. so is there shops around that you can buy parts and stuff from? There's none where I live I gotta use the internet It sucks I wish I could walk In and grab something

There are only a few brick and mortar shops left here in Stockholm and they tend to be more about RC cars and fixed wing stuff. I've never seen them selling any good quadcopter parts.

We have a few decent Internet shops and as you're not buying from abroad, things tend to arrive in the post the day after. The biggest problem with the Swedish Internet shops is the prices. Doing business here is expensive and this gets passed on to the customer. Thankfully, they have reasonable prices on LiPo batteries and what with the shipping restrictions, this is a real blessing.

I tend to buy things from Banggood if I'm not in a hurry and try to ignore the price difference if I buy something in a hurry from a local supplier.

Oh wow, I can imagine the prices are high. I have the same issues here though. If I want something fast from say amazon, It needs to 1, be prime eligabe and 2 be in stock on Amazon's site but the motors I bought on Bg were 20 bucks on Amazon they're 40 (cheap racerstars) .. now banggood shipping from CN takes about 2 to 4 weeks. If they have the product in US warehouse it's about a week. I'd rather pay more to get it within 1 to 3 days then a week or 4. The only shops I have available sell RC cars and hells and those cheap prebuilt RC "DRONES"

Yeah, this isn't really the best hobby if you're on a budget! Smile

I've actually been using Banggood's 'expedited shipping' option quite a bit recently due to the fact that our postal service here is in chaos, especially for international post. If you're placing a reasonably large order from BG and the items are all coming from the same warehouse, paying $10 for expedited shipping and having them send the order by DHL or TNT is worth the money. The order normally arrives in less than one week and I'm only having to pay import charges on about 25% of my orders that I've had sent this way.

Of course, this might be completely different for you in the US.

Make sure that the props are the right direction and that the battery polarity is correct. I almost made these mistakes what building my first quad.

Yeah i did that too on my tx order, all the parts I bought were from bg except for the batteries and charger.. but I went cheap to see if it's something I'd like.. id rather buy theese cheap parts now and break everything learning... then when I'm confident and comfortable I'll have no problem dropping a some money on better fpv equipment and better quads.. right now I'm using flysky fsi6s and eachine ev100s I know the reviews for the goggles were shitty but I had purchased them during the 99 dollar preorder.. It's hard to say If I think they're good because I only used them for around 4 min.

My quad is cheaper too. Lisam 210 gep pdb racer star motors and esc and spf3 clone fc it's basicly uav futures 99 dollar build but I bought my own fpv cam and vtx wish I would have known about run cam though..

I made the mistake on the props and wondered why the thing turned into a weed wacker instead to a drone lol but polarity I got right. I have a good grip on DC electricity and soldering comes natural. But I def won't make the prop mistake again

I have almost the same build as you. It's a Lisam 210. Here's my build:

Sweet man looking good I'll post some photos after I fix mine.. I need that 90° to sma adapter, that and the rx for the tx is a pain in the ass, and one of the reasons why I broke alot of components. The vtx did alot of damage because it wasn't secured right and I had taken the case off of the fsia10b rx to fit it
