SLS 1300mah 40C (true) 4S live "review" (user reaction)
#1
Up until now the only 4S lipos I've flown are "45C" 1800mah Tattus. When I got my hands on some SLS lipos that generally fall into category of "true C" packs (they don't use "130C" kind of marketing BS) I was shocked by the amount of thrust, no sag and generally longer flight time. But I thought... ok, my 45C Tattus are kind of beat up, maybe they are just overused... nope. My friends reaction was priceless and generally says it all:

What he wrote in the comments section:
What can i say, "true, true", i really enjoyed those sls 1300... magnificent punch-out, no beeping on punch-out (tattu, beeped even when freshly charged and balanced). Ability to do stuff i saw on some pilot movies, now without a hussle.

TLDR - incredbile... need to get more of those.

Found a thread on a polish forum covering actual tests on SLS, Tattu and several other packs: http://www.heli-team.pl/forum/viewtopic....t=Test+sls

The second chart is interesting - 1300mah Tattu (used 45C and new 75C) vs 1300mah SLS tested using series of resistors giving 25A (dotted lines) and 50A (normal lines). Suprisingly, the tester disconnected 1300mah SLS pack after pulling 1530mah - that explains my feeling on longer flight time.

It's in polish, but You can either use google translate or I can try to translate some parts if anyone's interested in details.

Will add some stuff to the main post.

Suprisingly, the 1300mah SLS pack gave out after pulling 1530mah - that explains my feeling on longer flight time.

It's in polish, but You can either use google translate or I can try to translate some parts if anyone's interested in details.
