Question
Hey guys newbie question again. I got all my fpv gear setup and went for my first flight. Had a few crashes but overall i was able to keep it in the air. Seems on the one crash an antenna must of popped loose from my zip ties and got cut in the prop. i still have signal but wondering if it still safe to fly it till i get a replacement receiver. Thinking It is a IA6B receiver and i have one ordered on the way.

it will be considerably weakened. It still works because of the diversity Smile
Best to either replace it, or if it's still long enough, you can fix it by removing some of the shielding to keep the exposed part of the wire about 31-32mm long.

i've been flying on one(ia6b) antena shortened and one original... range up to 550 m
if two antenas were shorter version i have had a range around 100-150m

so

All the best

If you ever experience signal losses, solder the brass tube back like it was on the original antenna.
Find me on Youtube and Instagram. I currently fly: DRC Aura, NOX5R, Minimalist 112 and drive a scrap RC car
