Skyzone V2 Goggles
#1
Greetings all.....

I just bought a pair of Skyzone V2 goggles.  The fit is horrible...guess I've got a fat head or something.  I should have found a pair to try on before I ordered, but it really wasen't an option.  Anyway, I digress...apparently Skyzone makes a face plate kit for their 3D goggles and the way the ad is worded I THINK they may also fit their V1, V2 and V3 units.  Can't tell for sure due to the verbiage used, but that is the way I am reading it.  Does anyone know if that kit will indeed fit the V2's?  Thanks folks! Smile

My V2 goggles came with the face plate.

I don't have them with me at the moment, but I can take some photos later on if you want?

That would be appreciated.  They (FPVModel) bill them as an accessory for the 3D goggles, but the verbiage leads me to believe they will fit other models as well.....

Thanks I appreciate it. When you have time could you show me a pic of the back of your goggles.....the attachment points where your plate attaches? Thank you.

Sure, no problem.

I'm just warming up in the local pub after flying a couple of batteries. I have one left to fly and then I'll be on my way back home and I'll take some more pictures for you.

No Hurry at all, I appreciated you taking the time and effort to do it.  I think they will work, but I would like to be sure.  Thanks again.

So, sorry for the delay but I had to eat something! Smile

Here's my goggles with the one piece rubber eye cups:

And here's what they look like without the eye cups:

The face plate clips on to the same rail that holds the eye cups:

Thanks for taking the time to do it.  I don't think it'll fit my goggles.  I have individual eye cups and the insdie of mine are different then yours.

I went ahead and ordered the faceplate anyway hoping I can mod it if it doesn't fit.  Thaks again, I appreciate your help. Smile

It'll fit no problem. The only difference between yours and mine is that the mounting rail extends all the way at the top of the goggles.

The little clips on the face plate that lock behind the rail should still make contact with your goggles as they are in the right place to match up with the rail regardless of if it is in two parts or one.
