I finally got around to doing the simple Mod of fitting a Fatshark Faceplate with fan to my Skyzone V3 goggles.
I got tired of my goggles always fogging up on the first lipo of the day.
Items you need.
Skyzone V3 goggles
Fatshark Faceplate with built in fan
Skyzone 3D printed V3 clips http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1193286
Some foam
First print off 4 of the 3D printed clips (you are stuffed at this stage if you do not have or access to a 3D printer).
Remove the rubber one piece eyecup from the goggles.
Take the clips and clip them over the Fatshark face plate..No need for diagrams..very easy to do. (in other words, if you can build a quadcopter you will figure it out pretty quick.)
Then with a bit of force you push the faceplate into the Goggles until it clips into place. (It sounds easy but does take a bit of fiddling around.)
So now the faceplate is attached but you have gaps between the faceplate and the goggles, cut some foam strips and push the strips into the gaps with a small screwdriver or similar, until you cannot see any light coming through.
Then attach the provided foam faceplate surround to the faceplate and you are done.
All up including printing the parts took me about 25 minutes.
End Result.
