Is there some reason you are specifically interested in Sinopine products? Any reason you seem to be only looking at Ali?

No, forrest was asking about a Sinopine VTX the other day also from ali, I suggested going with one from eachine on BG, no response to suggestions...?

Without even receiving a free one to review, I'll tell you a few things that don't make sense with this little AIO camera/VTX:

1. At the distance you'll be flying anything you'd fit this camera to, a CP antenna is a waste of weight. The first time you crash, you'll bend the lobes of the antenna and send the SWR through the roof. This will make the already hot video transmitter circuitry burn out in record time as bending things back into shape by eye won't restore even the bad impedance match that the antenna had in the first place.

2. That seven segment LED display is much thicker and heavier than a few strips of 0402 sized SMD LEDs on the PCB.

3. Why 200mW? Again, you're not going to be flying anything with this over long distances. 50mW or 100mW would be better for the life of the transmitter and for overall flight time. Half an Ampere of current on top of what the motors will pull from the poor 1S battery!

The best antenna you can get for these little cameras is a linear balun dipole with a u.fl/IPEX connector that makes it easy to replace the antenna without having to poke a 75W plumber's soldering iron into the board and wonder why the PCB tracks end up on the end of your iron.
