Simple for you but complicated for me
#1
i am looking to activate 12 linear actuators from 500+ meters away using radio frequency control. (application is for a horse feeder)

I can have one remote with 12 button - 1 button per actuator
or
i can have 1 remote for each actuator

* i have to be able to activate any of the actuators completely independently without any interference.

any advise?

much appreciated.

why don't you use 12 independent recievers, since you can have 12 indipendent remotes. also, do your actuators have limit switches built into them, if so why don't you use a system like in automatic garage door openers. I did this once on a smoke grill I once welded together for a friend. and I think this post should've gone in the off topic section. but anyways. good luck on your project.

Mod EDIT: Moved to off topic area. Thanks Jimmy.
