Should I Upgrade to Frsky Hours from Taranis?
#1
Does any one have experience with the Frsky Horus? Is it worth upgrading from Taranis for?

Apparently not. Some reviews weren't very positive. Range issues were common.
I'd keep my Taranis and spend the money on a 3d printer. You don't need this all singing and dancing radio for quadcopter all the brains are in the model 98%radio features are redundant save ya money

Here are some reviews i found on Youtube:

I don't own one, but had a play on my friend's. I would say yes, gimbals are amazing, and OpenTX 2.2 even on beta works good. But it's significantly heavier and bulkier than the taranis.

Horus only feels heavy if your moving from the toy grade light weight Taranis. Range issues are not really an issue. Frsky openly state you will have reduced range using the internal antenna, screw on the supplied external one and your good to go for some range.

There is a upgrade gimbal with Hall Sensors available soon for the Taranis:

Should have the same Performance than like the Horus ones...
