0 16-Aug-2016, 07:26 AM I am ready to get some goggles! I have used a cheap 6" LCD screen for my FPV and I am always wishing I had the real deal. I was almost ready to buy the Headplay goggles but I am turned off by the mixed reviews, and even one reviewer saying that they caused motion sickness!
So, are there any new FPV goggles in the $300 range that are supposed to be coming out (or recently released) that hold a lot of promise and might be worth waiting for?

34 The dominator SE is about to or has already been released for 350usd. I don't know much about it and one of the things I am a bit concerned of is if they have fixed the dominator hd v2 problem with blurry edges since the field of view is the same on both of them.

15 Also a question are you considering also switching to better "screen" or only goggles ?
i've recently switched from Quanum DIY to Cyclops... and as both approaches are "cheap" there is a major delta in the quality in the favor of Cyclops.
so maybe you can spend the $ for other quad or other option your are a grownup now and want fatsharks

15 before cyclops i've been using the:
Quanum DIY FPV Goggle V2 w/5 inch LCD Monitor
my findings so far are:
- after change i noticed my camera for fpv is "poor quality"
- sharper image
- better colours
- idiotproof one button usage (+ability to mod and have more options)
- much better battery placement (behind your head)
- smaller - overall size screen is the same size.
All the best

3 I use skyzone v2, bought em after a brief trial with the original quanum which I really struggled with, it's really personal preference. The new SE dom fatsharks, look to me, to be made of bits they've had laying around a while and a fancy paint job, nothing amazing about em
