Seriously Pro OSD/PDB
#1
Hi guys.. I'm running the SP EVO & the SP OSD/PDB.. now this OSD/PDB is a new product.. and the manual has yet to be released... it seems to be working great on the PDB side.. but I can't get it to flash the firmware... no boot pins, so bricking it aint gonna work(is my terminology correct?.. lol).. now.. I did use Impulse to boot the EVO... I'm kind scared to do that with OSD/PDB... any knowledge out there on this one?

I can't help you much other then to say I bought a Power OSD PRO 2 and it was DOA when I got it. Put power to it and in about 4 seconds it got so hot it would burn you. Good luck!

It's impossible to suggest anything helpful if there is no manual or info from the manufacturer LOL, I think you might have to wait til they publish that.

I had a look at the board layout and I am not sure how you could flash the OSD... I would imagine you can do so via the USB Port, and there might be a jumper/switch on the board allow you to connect to the FC or OSD, but i can't seem to find that on the board.

I don't get it why someone would start selling products that don't even have support or even basic manual... very disappointing.

Yeah.. kinda crazy.. suppose to use the USB for flashing.. no boot pins.. unable to brick this one as the boot is written in the ROM.

I exchanged several emails with Mohamed (apparently the developer) and he was very helpful in trying to help me troubleshoot my problem, but I didn't ask him about any documentation....I wish I had....sorry : (
