separating the stator from the base
#1
I have two busted motors, where one has broken windings (right one on the picture), and the other has a broken bottom and bent bell (left on the picture). So I was planning to remove the stator from the motor with bent bottom, and move it over to the good bottom, but I can't find an easy way to remove the stator. As you can see on the picture, the stator on the right side picture came off pretty easy with just some careful bending on each of the stator sides. But the stator on the other motor is not so easy to remove. Does anyone know a trick to remove the stator without causing any damage to the windings?

Ended up straightening the base with a socket and a clamp, and now the motor is good again

really? what about now? I opened a picture from google photos in a separate window and copied the address and added it as an image here. I can see the picture, but I guess it has something to do with who is allowed to see the picture settings

This is one of those "how hard can it be" moments... I have a god damn masters degree in Science and I am not able to post a bloody picture on a forum :p. OK, I have to look at this tomorrow.

Now everything should be good. I used sloscottys guide and google incognito mode to share the picture. Thanks sloscotty!
The problem was as long as I am logged on Chrome, I can see the pictures but no one else. An Easy way to check if someone can see your pictures is to load the thread in incognito mode or another browser.
