Securing connectors with hot glue
#1
I see on Oscar's blog the use of hotglue like substance on various JST type connectors.  I am building my first quad and it has lots of connectors and am trying to secure everything for its eventual multiple crashes, what are some best practices? i.e. Hot glue connectors together, to board, hot glue in back of connector to keep wire secure, on pdb, etc.?

Thanks.

Hot glue is a temp fix, it actually softens up if used on any heat sources and just comes apart. I use 2 pack epoxy glue on all my connectors on my Flight Controllers and works really well.

I use liquid tape on PDB solder joints as it is is easy to remove when you need to do repairs.
