Scanning finds no signal?
#1
Hi all
Crux 35 v2 with tbs nano receiver installed also.
I’ve flown the crux by los for the last few months waiting for my HDZero goggles to arrive.
I’ve updated beta flight Configurator to 10.9.0
Updated the firmware on goggles
Flashed an update to the VTX via goggles.
Have uart 1 with serial rx, map and vtx (map and display port) enabled on peripherals.
When my goggles scan they don’t pick up a signal.
Osd seems to be working.
Any ideas?.
Appreciate any help

If you see OSD but not the camera feed then it's not a transmitter thing, it's likely a camera issue. Not sure about the wiring for HDZero cams, but you might want to double check the wiring harness is seated properly and re-seat it to be sure it's secured. If it still doesn't work, then I'd look at replacing the wiring hardness between the cam/VTX if you can.

You have TAKEN THE LENS CAP OFF, ?

WHICH Camera? (Exact Model)

When viewing the channels screen in goggles you MUST have a signal shown to get quad OSD visible in goggles, or are you meaning only Goggles OSD top of screen?

Confirm you have quad OSD visible on a black screen.

If that's all on UART 1 as you have said, it won't work, even assuming you meant MSP and not map.

Seems I have only been getting the top osd through the goggles. Fan speed, 4 signal strength, batt voltage ‘presumably goggles’ etc.
My first good set of goggles so new to all this.

By my experience, there will be no OSD on HDZero even if it's "only" the camera/cable that's the problem.

Have you tried multiple camera cables? What do the blinking LED patterns show on the VTX when powering up?

I’ll have a look tomorrow.
I haven’t tried multiple cables yet just different cameras with the cable that’s attached.
I’ll check the led patterns also.
