I spent Saturday afternoon out in the field with my wing. Slowly progressing towards longer range...
INAV is working flawlessly, most of the chilled out flight in the video is done using ALTHOLD in combination with HEADING HOLD (which according to the wiki shouldn't work on a wing, but it does - it just banks to turn instead of using rudder). I find that combination the most stable. I also finally found a reliable way to launch the wing. Using the NAV LAUNCH was a mixed success - it would probably need some tuning - especially throttle value and climb rate. But using manual mode (passthrough) and the "vertical side grab" method from this video works great for me.
It was a bit windy, so the flight is a bit wobbly at times, but I guess that's just the fate of the wing. Recorded using onboard DVR hooked straight to the camera.
The video is quite boring, just some slow flying over Finnish lakes and forests (although very beautiful). Starting from the 2:22 mark, there is my attempt on some more low/proximity flying. It's fun
